In a galaxy not too far far away the gaming headset maker Turtle Beach has announced a Star Wars-themed Sandtrooper headset for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game. There will be a limited edition version of the headset that will only be available at Best Buy in the United States. The standard version of the Sandtrooper headset will be released in the UK, Australia, and other "select territories" across Europe.

The limited edition headsets will be individually numbered and include an extra set of swappable Star Wars speaker plates, The design for the headset was themed around the Stormtroopers that were deployed to Tatooine in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

The headsets are scheduled to be released this fall alongside the launch of Star Wars Battlefront. For those in the US the Sandtrooper headset can be pre-ordered for $99 via the Best Buy website. Fans in other territories can pre-order the standard version of the Sandtrooper headset through the Turtle Beach website. The headset will have a RRP of £69.99 in the UK, AUD$169 in Australia, and €99.99 in select countries across Europe.

Star Wars Battlefront and the headset are expected to release on November 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
