Best PC Speakers 2021 | Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Bluetooth

So you're a person who loves listening to music on your computer...or maybe you're a gamer & you want to level up your audio game...

Then the new a d improved 2021 version of the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 sound system might be exactly what you need. There is a brand new feature on these which I'll explain a little later in the video.

So I've been using these speakers for well over a month now. At first, I was using them on either side of my living room TV...and now they live here on either side of my Mac...so I have fully tested these in all scenarios...so this is a long-term review.

1st of all let me talk a little about watching TV and Movies & console gaming on a TV with the Klipsch pro media...

I set these up to watch the Justice League Snyder cut...and wow...just wow. very rarely have I been so surprised when it comes to home audio tech. Don't be fooled by what to appears to be very plain and innocent-looking satellite speakers...

One of the great advantages that speaker like these have is they can be so far apart. The audio separation between left and right is so good...and far better than any Soundbar that I've tested.

As well as that they get loud.. so loud, but without losing clarity or becoming too sharp and ear piercing. Which is great quality.

This is largely thanks to Henley audio & Klipsch s experience in manufacturing high-end audio equipment...I mean some of their equipment costs upwards of...

Each of these innocent-looking satellite speakers house some pretty heavy artillery when it comes to audio tech.

Each satellite has an 8cm Klipsch MicroTractrix horn mid-bass driver, accompanied by 19mm PEI (polyetherimide) tweeters for those higher frequencies...

And let's talk about the trouble maker...the sub. This thing has got me in trouble with my neighbor...true story.

After watching the Snyder cut... I threw on some Call of duty Warzone... pretty swiftly I got a knock on the door... My neighbor said his picture frames were rattling on his living room walls...and we're talking old-style solid brick walls...

And I only had the bass level at around 50%...I'm not even exaggerating. So if you're all about the bass... In this price range...the Klipsch ProMedia will be a perfect match perhaps.

What's surprising to me that this sub is this very compact compared to a lot of Soundbar subwoofers I have tested in the past...

Again when it comes to design and tech. It's like a wolf in lambs' clothing. Inside this very sturdy ported wood casing is its menacing sideways firing 17cm sub driver...

So my overall opinion when it comes to using this with your main TV is it over-delivers in so many areas when it comes to sound quality...Although it's 2.1 the combination works so well... It almost feels like surround sound at times.

The only drawback to using the Klipsch ProMedia in this way is it doesn't have a remote control. So you will need to have to get up and turn the dials...just like the old days...

And the fact that the speakers wire directly into the sub-woofer unit. So the sub will have to be near the TV...unless you lengthen the speaker's cables...

my advice to you if you are going to buy these for TV use. Is tweak the bass before you sit down...find that sweet spot. The last thing you want is to be caught off guard when an explosion goes off...

So as you know I make videos & I also like listening to music at the appropriate volume...and this is what I think these are originally built for.

When I'm editing videos I have the bass levels at around 15% and because you sitting much closer to them, very rarely did I find the need to ramp up the volume. The audio clarity is crystal clear & a massive step from the built-in speakers on my iMac.

Also, the fact that they're right in front of you means there's no remote control issue...you can dial in your volume & bass very easily.

To be honest I kind of miss having these connected to my TV, although the Klipsch ProMedia gets a lot more use when connected to my computer in the YT Studio.

Also, the new BT feature which wasn't present on the older model means I connect my phone or even my Alexa straight to it when I want to listen to music...

And when it comes to listening to music...the Klipsch Pro Media hits hard...and you know one God thing about music...when it hits you feel no pain...I'm not sure my neighbor agrees with that though lol
