100Watt Gan 2 Alxum Charger
Speed & power are two things that make the world go round. But getting the right amount of power at the right speed is vital. Now more than ever when it comes to your Galaxy S23...because there is no charger in the box. Now you can buy the official Samsung charger. It costs around £30 in the UK, or you could optimise your recharging abilities with a power supply solution like this. This is a 100-watt Gallium Nitride II charger.
This one is from Alxum and retails for just a little more than Samsung single-port charger, but the power output options are far superior. It will charge your phone at the 45W peak rate, but it can also charge three more devices simultaneously. That could be your earbuds, watch, or tablet, and it gets better if your laptop charges via USB C. This Alxum GAN 2 charger can charge that too.
Now you might wonder how this compact power brick can safely manage that amount of energy. Well, it primarily comes down to the GAN technology, and you'll be happy to know that it has all the safety certificates.
And the reason I've chosen this one is because Alxum is a new brand on Amazon and their prices are better than the competition. So if you get this, you could save time with faster charging speeds & money.
MC Dodo USB C cable / £12.99
So now that you are aware that ensuring you get the correct delivery of power will save you time. And time is arguably the most valuable metric in our lifetime. So to ensure you're always using your charging time effectively, A cable like the MC dodo is precisely what you need. Because not only is a USB 2.0 cable able to support 100Watt charging & transfer 1GB of data in 25secs... it also visually displays the power delivery speed. So you'll know when the power output is just too slow & when it's optimal.
The entire cable is braided, which gives it that premium feel, and it's all really put together well. You can get this in USB A to USB C, C to C, or even a lightning version for iPhones. And it's surprisingly affordable.
D Brand Damascus
A phone case is usually the first accessory you'd be looking for on your device. It offers protection, a unique style, and often a better grip, but the downside is it makes the phone a bit heavier and bulkier... sometimes a bit uglier.
I have a go-to phone case brand that I always use. I'll share that recommendation with you a little later in the video. But this right here is a Damascus triple black skin from Dbrand. Damascus steel is often associated with Samurai swords, and if you don't think Samurai swords look cool, then we can't be friends.
Ok, I'm joking. I don't discriminate. And actually, neither do Dbrand. So if Damascus is different from your style. There are so many other options. And if you want to save money, check out Xtreme Skins & Vybe Skinz. They do similar quality products, just different styles.
Samsung USB C pen drive
Alright, on the topic of saving money. If you went for a smaller storage option when you bought your Samsung Galaxy device. You might find that sooner or later, you're going to need more space. And given that Samsung scrapped the SD card slot long ago, it's more challenging than it once was. That's why this is a lifesaver. It's an official Samsung USB C thumb drive that's tiny, and you can keep it on your keys.
The great thing about this particular pen drive is your phone will auto-detect it when you plug it in. The read-write speeds are fast. So copying files and photos across is quick and easy. And let's say you're going on holiday and you got some films or classic retro games you want to play on the way. You can keep them all backed up here. There are different sizes. The 64GB is just £14.99. And if you're wondering how I'm playing Super Mario on Android. Stick around until the end, and I'll show you.
Nacon MGX Pro
Alright, let's talk gaming. Whether it's an emulator, native android or cloud. I do recommend you get a grip. Most people will agree that games are better when your hands don't obstruct the screen.
That's why the Nacon MGX Pro is a great attachment. It is the closest you can get to using an actual Xbox controller in a telescopic grip form factor. It is officially Xbox licensed too. So it looks and feels just like the original. It is one of the best gaming grips out there.
It's just over £100 here in the UK & It uses Bluetooth LE, which means you can use any device with it regardless of the ports & port placements. Even the Z Fold devices fit perfectly. Now, if you're a mobile gaming purist, you might want a grip with a Type C connection. Or if this is too expensive. Here's a bonus accessory that solves both of those problems for you!
Bonus - GameSir X2 pro
This is the GameSir X2 pro. A gaming grip with a Type C connection. It is also Xbox licensed but is way more compact and half the price. It also comes with a carry case, and changeable thumb rests, And ABXY buttons are magnetic and can be reorganised into a Nintendo switch or XBOX layout whenever you want. It also has back pedals which I know you pro gamers will appreciate. I love this grip...and there's even an app where you can load up pre-mapped buttons from the gamesir community for games that don't support a controller.
INIU Power Bank BI-B62
Gaming on the go with maximum graphics and max screen refresh rate and brightness is the quickest way to drain your battery. You can scale all that back to preserve your power supply...but that's not fun! So you could get one of these a power bank. But this is different from your average power bank. This is one of the few that supports 45W fast charging USB C to USB C, the fastest charging speed that Samsung supports.
And it's affordable too. It's called the INUI power bank BI-B62, and it holds 1500mAh. That's three complete recharge cycles of an S23 Ultra. And it's more than that for the smaller devices. And check this out. It doesn't just use little LED dots to represent how much power is left. That method is too unclear.
INUI has got a digital display showing the precise percentage. It gets better. A double tap on the power button activates a torch, and if you slide this little piece out, you've got a phone stand. And it also has an additional USB A port which supports a 22.5W output.
You may not need this immediately, but trust me, one day. You might wish you had put a little money into a power bank.... like this one.
Ugreen 63W USB C charger
So this one only applies to those of you who drive. So I'll keep this short and sweet. The power brick & power bank both support Samsungs' fast 45W charging rate. So if you get both of those, your Achilles heel will be your in-car charging speed. That is why I have found you this! The Ugreen 63W USB C charger. It supports PD3.0 via the USB C for the 45watts, and the additional 18w can be output simultaneously via the USB A port using quick charge 3. It's a solid product...you can find cheaper alternatives, but most will not be able to output 45W from a single port...like this one can.
Hagibis Cell Phone Stand £8.99
Sometimes the most valuable accessories are the simplest and sometimes even the cheapest...and sometimes they have terrible names.
Items like this, the Hagibis cell phone kickstand. It's under 9 pounds here in the UK. Probably 10 Euros & 10 Dollars respectively. It's a small, lightweight, low-profile, foldable, pocketable aluminium kickstand. It also leaves room for a charging cable. And as long as you are not touching the screen a lot. It can even hold a tablet... This might be the greatest stand-alone travel kickstand for travelling with. And it is available in gold if you're into that kind of thing. Worth its weight in gold.
BONUS - ESR halo lock sticker
So here's a strategically placed bonus one for you. The next product, which is awesome, by the way, is magnet dependent accessory. And I realise that you might prefer the official Samsung cases or another brand... but maybe you like the idea of mag-EZ functionality. So here's a solution. This ESR halo lock sticker is under 15 pounds here in the UK. It can be attached to the back of your device and sometimes under your phone case of choice...making it mag EZ compatible. Which opens the door to magnetic wireless chargers, magnetic wallets, and this.
Pitaka Mag EZ Slider
The Pitaka Mag EZ Slider. This might be one of the greatest desk Qi wireless chargers ever made. It spins 360 degrees. On the back, you can charge your earbuds. On the front, your phone is held magnetically in place & charges wirelessly & when it's time to move, you can lift it off the slider with a reserve mag EZ battery pack still attached. You got to admit this is pretty cool... it does cost a pretty penny, though that's why I've gone out of my way to find another similar but more portable solution, but at a quarter of the price.
AlFuel 15 W foldable charger
So this foldable bit of tech can output a maximum of 15 watts of fast wireless Qi charging. That is the optimal Qi wireless speed that your Galaxy phone can receive. An instant win! But it gets better. It can charge three devices simultaneously. So you're phone, your watch and your buds, for example. And check this out. The primary charging pad has magnets built in. So this means you can fold the Alfuel charger into a kickstand and use it like that. Another nice touch is if you plan to use this on a bedside table. It has a built-in nightlight. And, of course, it folds flat, so you can keep it in the back of your backpack...how about that.
Samsung Smart Tag
Here's a question. Have you ever lost your keys? Or your luggage? If the answer is yes. And you have a Samsung phone. One of these will be the best £23 you've ever spent. The Samsung smart tag can be located using the Samsung smart things app and tracked down on google maps. You can navigate to it, set it to alert you when left behind, and share the location with friends and family. And if you double push the built-in button, it will ring your phone. Honestly, it's invaluable. Next time you're like, where are my keys? Where's my phone...you'll know.
Tile card tracker
Now, If you lose your keys or bag and the Samsung tag is attached. There's a good chance you'll find them and get them back. But what about your wallet? Yes, this is a Damascus steel wallet, but I want to show you this. The Tile Slim tracker. Similar to the Samsung Tag but designed for your wallet. There are different tiers of services available. If you lose your wallet within BT range, you can find it with your phone, and it can play chime. If it's out of range, you'll be able to see the last location and the with premium service, you can join the community and find it on google maps.
And similar to the Samsung tag, a double tap on the card will ring your phone. There are more pay-to-play features available I'll link them in the description.
Xuan Pad mini projector
They say the phones today are more powerful than the computers that landed a man on the moon. But what do most of us do with them...we watch content. So why not expand upon the content-watching experience with this Xuan Pad mini. It's under 70, and it's small. You could easily make room for this in your luggage if you're travelling. There are various input methods, but most importantly, you can plug your phone in and create up to a massive 170-inch display from just 5 meters away. The resolution is 1080P, which is good considering the price. And remember that Samsung dongle I mentioned earlier, you could even play directly from that, an SD card, or even a firestick. It certainly is a versatile bit of kit.
Fiio USB DAC
This one is niche, so I won't spend too long on it. You've probably noticed how the headphone jack has disappeared from many smart devices. But don't be fooled into thinking Bluetooth audio is just as good as via wire... the BT technology isn't quite there yet. LDAC can support up to 24Bit 192Khz, but if you are into true hi-fidelity audio. With the FiiO JadeAudio KA1 USB C Dac, you get proper 32Bit/384Khz playback from your phone...via a 3.5mm analogue jack. Of course, you'd need headphones that match the quality and lossless audio files such as MQA, DSD, or FLAC on your device or premium tier streaming service.
Simply put, if you want the very best audio playback possible from your phone. If that's your jam, then this is the key to unlocking it. It costs £42 here in the UK... a good, sound investment.
WhiteStone Dome UV Gen Film
Alright, not all screen protectors are created equal. And my brand of choice for over 5 years now is a Korean brand name, WhiteStone Dome. I have made several videos about these screen protectors. They create a specialist hardened glass that you apply special glue and a UV light...and more recently, they have introduced a new UV gen film that needs to be cured using UV but is far easier to install than the pro version. So based on how easy it is to apply and good the final results are. This is the best screen film protector out there, but if you want to step it up to the pro-level screen protection, there's a video on screen right now to show you how to do that.
And if you want to learn how to master your galaxies abilities. Some of the best tips and tricks videos are on the screen. Or if you want to play some super mario on your phone, there's a video about that on screen. Go check them out...and if you do, I'll see you in the next one. Don't be late!
